THE GOLD TROUT is a lifestyle boutique and design studio located in the heart of Granville, New York. We incorporate the culture and ethos of our surroundings into our approach. Therefore, you'll find the natural, beautiful, educational, thoughtful, handmade, inspirational, and sustainable in our treasure trove. We support regional + contemporary designers and national brands. We are a retailer, yes.  But, consumption is not our primary mission. We encourage thoughtful consumption based on the application of principles that honor the Earth + support artists and small companies to remain independent.  

Stop in for a visit and you'll see GOTS organic cotton clothes, and everything free of phthalates, formaldehyde, and all of the toxins in standard products on the market that pollute your home, and take a long-term toll on your health. Our entire collection is hand-picked by the owner - with you in mind.

OUR STATIONERY + DESIGN STUDIO
THE GOLD TROUT offers a unique selection of handpicked + small batch cards and invitations and custom stationery. We work with local couples in Vermont and New York but also work with couples around the Northeast who are remotely planning their weddings. We offer hand-lettering and calligraphy services, custom painted signs for weddings & special occasions.  Please refer to STATIONERY + DESIGN STUDIO to view some of our brands we carry in-store for wedding invitations, parties, holiday cards, birth announcements, and social stationery.  Schedule an appointment for a call or in-house consultation.
