Where do you ship packages?
We ship to all 50 states in the United States, to Canada, to the U.K., and to Mexico. Please email us with any questions about shipping to locations outside of the United States.
When can I expect my order to ship?
Most in-stock items ship within 48 hours of ordering.* Orders may be split across multiple shipments, and items ordered together may not be shipped on the same day. Standard shipping durations are based on your location relative to our location. Most orders, once shipped, will be received in 2-4 business days. Please contact us if you need a package expedited or delivered ASAP and we will make arrangements on your behalf.
* Due to COVID-19 and a surge in orders flowing through all of the main delivery carriers (USPS, FedEx and UPS), we are experiencing delays in receiving shipments. We are doing our best to get orders shipped in a timely manner but with limited staffing as well due to the coronavirus, your orders may take longer than usual to ship and be received. If you need an order shipped or delivered quickly, please reach out to us to make sure your order is processed quickly.
How will I know when my order has shipped?
You will receive an email notification confirming shipment (be sure to check your spam folder). The email will contain tracking information as well.
Shipping Costs
At this time, we offer standard Free Shipping on orders $50+* within the continental United States for our everyday retail items.
*Free shipping does not apply to custom orders such as business cards, custom stationery/ announcements/ invitations, personalized melamine, custom stamps, personalized phonebooks/ journals/ guest books, and other personalized products.

Please use the chart below to estimate shipping and handling charges. Should you need Express or Overnight delivery for your order, please contact us directly and we will send you an electronic invoice for your order.

Backorders
If an item is on backorder, you will be notified with an Expected Ship Date. You will receive an email if there are any changes to the status of your items. Occasionally, items will go on backorder before your order is fulfilled — if this happens, we will alert you via email.
In the event that your order includes a backordered item, we reserve the right to cancel the item or ship your order in multiple packages. If you would like to cancel a backordered item, please contact us.
Gifts
How sweet of you! If you are ordering a gift, we will gladly include a complimentary note on our 4 x 6 notecards. Please enter your message at checkout for inclusion in the package. When all packages (gifts and non-gifts) are shipped, we include a packaging slip as well that has the sender and recipient information. For your privacy, the packing slips never contain any pricing or payment information.
Liability
The Gold Trout "the Store" ships products via three carriers -- USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The Gold Trout assumes no responsibility for stolen goods. Once your order has been delivered by the carrier, the purchase has been fulfilled and is complete. The individual carriers and the Store are individually and collectively not responsible for theft. If your order is stolen from your property, please file a police report and/or make a claim with your insurance company.
