We began as a small shop selling a unique collection of colorful pieces. We grew by incorporating the culture and ethos of our surroundings into our collection and approach. Our selection has evolved to become a well-edited assortment of local + contemporary designers and independent labels from the U.S. and abroad. The Gold Trout offers a unique selection of handpicked + small batch cards and invitations, exquisite gifts, home accessories, and custom stationery.
We are a retailer, yes. But, consumption is not part of our primary mission. We encourage thoughtful consumption based on the application of principles that honor the Earth + support artists and small companies to remain independent. Would you rather create?
